Frantic Princess: Protectors of the realms

Episode 13: In the nick of time! Saved from the hood-men's sword.

It was a hour after dawn in the region of light now, yet there wasn't a paint of sunshine in the sky today. It was gloomy in Aurora City where Mushra still resides quietly, yet he knew in his head time was running out. Normally the prisoners in the crystal cavers get one or two last requests before they die, so he asked one of the messengers to call his friend Sago to his aid quietly. The second one was to see the princess and beg her father not to kill him, yet the second one was about to be fulfilled for him now. Cadence came down into the dungeons heading for the caverns, she didn't want to see him die a most painful death. The sooner she could change things around for him the better, Reiko the palace mage was sitting in his chamber quite solemn as well. His orb of truth could help out in this situation in their hands, Gerald wasn't up at the time yet he was going to be along with his wife Amelia.

|Mushra I'm down here before my mother wakes up knowing I'm gone, my father will be here soon so I can only talked to you for a little while. I know what happen wasn't your fault at all, yet my father and I don't always see eye to eye with things. I really want to get you out of this forsaken dungeon your in, although the guards will be down here shortly by the sound of their armor. Don't worry I promise you I'll try to make my father see that your not evil at all, yet when I was about ten someone tried to attack me when I gave them mercy. That's why my father doesn't trust outsiders that come from Enterra from here on out, yet sometimes I feel that there are good enterrans out there that my father doesn't see. Oh let me take of my hood for you to see me better, good now you don't have question if I am who I say I am. Wait, oh no! I hear footsteps coming from the distance heavily, it's the guards I must hurry so I don't get caught down here----| One of the guards stopped Cadence as she spoke to Mushra.

|Lady Cadence, why are you down here by yourself? Oh one of his final requests was to meet you in person without us around, well I'm afraid that this conversation is over with now. Cadence all we ask of you is a simple question, may we guard this area now that you finish your discussion with him?| Nodding in a slow yet sadden way Cadence slowly left the area. However someone else was with her at the time the cards came, it wasn't her father I can tell you from experience my little friends. It was a messenger with a water like devil by his side, it was Sago this would make Mushra jump for joy a bit. However just because he's here doesn't mean he wont get out, the guards were on high alert with this person down here at the time. Then Cadence saw a sharp thing coming from behind his back quietly, the messenger looked a bit scared as he walked down the path way. Then all of a sudden Cadence shouted -Seize Him Now!- The guard surrounded Sago as they knocked the weapon out of his hands. Cadence saw her father coming down into the hall with a stern look to his face, he had to tell his daughter that he couldn't be trusted...but she had to learn about it the hard way.

|Cadence I told you dear that he would betray your trust, luckily the guards saved you from mere death from this water like devil. Mushra had friends in high places back on Enterra it seems from my perspective, but before he dies Reiko will give the test of truth and holy light. If he fails he shall die by the bladesmen that stands before him heavily, yet he if he does which I doubt it pass he shall go free but to never return back here. Come my men I shall meet you outside at the town where the citizens await, they will see the dark and evil being he truly is. Now my daughter it's time for you to go back into the palace now, your mother is waiting for you to join her for some peaceful time together.| Cadence tried to plead with her father not to kill him now. Yet her words fell on deaf ears as the guards took her back to the palace, she didn't know what to do as her mother took her into the palace.

Her mother looked at her with a normal stare at the time, they were going to watch the event when they finish eating. Cadence didn't want her father to kill the enterran off so quickly, she talked to her mother asking if she could do something to stop hit. However like her father she didn't find it wise to do that, she told her that this had to be done to protect the City of Aurora. Yet she couldn't tell her mother what happened to her on that day, even thought she wanted to speak out her voice was still held in a tiny cadge at the moment...it was if she didn't want to disappoint her father. It was finally morning a crowd of spectators arrived to see this, although some of them were enterran they didn't take to kindly to Mushra now. Yes they did indeed fear him at the time when he came in here, but you can understand that they have an untrusting feeling about the enterrans that come from Enterra. Reiko knew in his heart that the enterran didn't come here on purpose, for only the few one's that are pure can enter the realm.

Mushra was held down on the board where the man held his sword, the king stepped up talking to Reiko he wanted to see if he was telling the truth. Speaking a few words the orb was changing a bit of color at first. Then as he was about to speak his daughter Cadence came out to tell her father something, Mushra was about to give a an inch taken from the top if you get my drift. Once he found out the orb began to glow brightly like a shining star, this meant that all he said was very true from this moment one. The City forgave Mushra and let him and his friend go quietly, yet Gerald still had his suspensions about him in his mind. Yet he needs to apologize to his daughter for not believing here well.

|Cadence it seems that you were telling the truth about him, I apologize about this whole matter that went haywire. Yet I will still be strong protecting the City of Aurora from here on out. For once your mercy spared a life of an enterran for now, yet there was another enterran that attacked your mother. He will not be so lucky in getting your mercy this time around, I hear your mother calling you now she might need you for a moment or two.| Hugging his daughter Cadence left the area feeling quite relieved. Finally something went according to place for once, things were looking good for Aurora City for now by our eyes...but the next battle will be coming from a cold place from our perspective soon.
